The Senior Manager of Facilities Management is a pivotal role within our organization, focusing on the strategic and operational oversight of all facilities management functions. This position demands a seasoned professional with a proven track record in managing large-scale facilities, ensuring optimal operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing maintenance, improving systems, and managing vendor relationships to support the organization's objectives. With an emphasis on leadership, the Senior Manager will ensure that all facilities projects align with business goals and comply with regulations and standards, enhancing the workplace environment across the organization. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive facilities management policies and procedures organization-wide.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of facilities to ensure sustainable and efficient practices.
  • Direct and manage facilities maintenance and repair activities to minimize disruptions.
  • Lead strategic planning and execution of facilities upgrades and improvements.
  • Manage budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with financial guidelines.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and service providers efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all facilities.
  • Prepare detailed reports and present findings to executive management for informed decision-making.
  • Oversee space management to optimize the use of facilities in alignment with company growth.
  • Establish preventive maintenance schedules to enhance equipment longevity and performance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of facilities management professionals to achieve excellence.
  • Coordinate emergency and disaster preparedness plans to safeguard organization's assets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities management or a similar role.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing large teams effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and operations best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with various stakeholders effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and optimize resource utilization.
  • Experience in strategic planning and change management within a fast-paced environment.
