Synopsis

Play a key role in supporting Etihad’s ambitious growth strategy by contributing to the development of a commercially and operationally optimized passenger schedule. Ensure the timely and accurate publication of operating and marketing schedules, aligned with the broader strategic objectives of the Etihad Aviation Group.

Accountabilities

Support the development and delivery of Etihad’s flight schedules across multiple time horizons, with the following key deliverables:

  • Short-term (current IATA season):
    • In-season schedule scenarios
    • Continuous capacity optimization
    • Operational integrity checks
    • Fleet plan tracking
  • Long-term (next IATA season and beyond):
    • Long-range schedule scenarios
    • Holistic schedule design
    • Annual budget and corporate outlook (5–10-year horizon) schedule planning
Additional responsibilities include:

  • Supporting commercial initiatives to maximize profitability
  • Collaborating with operational stakeholders to ensure compliance
  • Enhancing existing processes and developing new tools and reports to drive continuous improvement
  • Managing and leveraging key relationships across departments
  • Aligning schedule changes with stakeholders including Network Planning, Revenue Management, Alliances & Partnerships, Operations, Government Affairs, Finance, and Corporate Communications
  • Contributing to the ongoing enhancement of Etihad’s slot portfolio
  • Supporting ad-hoc charter flight requests

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 year of schedule planning experience with a reputable airline
  • Proven experience in developing, presenting, and supporting business cases
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with effective communication across all organizational levels
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Analytics, Logistics, Engineering, or a related discipline
