The Key Objectives For This Role Are

• Responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient erection, alteration, and dismantling of scaffolding structures on a construction site. They ensure compliance with safety regulations, manage scaffolding teams, and coordinate scaffolding activities with other trades.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Inspecting scaffolding materials before and after erection
• Ensuring the stability and safety of scaffolding structures
• Conducting risk assessments and creating safety plans
• Maintaining records of inspections, incidents, and maintenance work
• Training new staff on safety protocols and proper scaffolding techniques
• Liaising with other project supervisors and management to ensure that scaffolding plans align with project timelines and objectives
• Supervising the erection and dismantling of scaffolding structures
• Auditing and inspecting existing structures to confirm compliance with safety standards and structural integrity
• Problem-solving on-site issues related to scaffolding
• Ordering and managing scaffolding materials and inventory
• Communicating effectively with construction managers and other contractors concerning project details and timelines

Expected

• Proven experience as a Scaffolding Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to scaffolding
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematic drawings
• CISRS/CITB certification in Scaffolding
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in construction safety is a plus
