Synopsis

The Training Lead is responsible for designing and planning the delivery of the SAP S/4 HANA training for business users. The Training Manager will also deliver a "Train the Trainer" program to support business subject matter experts in the delivery of end user training. This role will ensure effective training and enablement to empower end-users in their transition to the new S/4 HANA environment. The Training Manager will ensure high levels of end user process adoption through the effective design and delivery of training programs. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP training methodologies, strong experience with SAP S/4 HANA Finance and Procurement & Supply Management modules, and proven success in large-scale SAP transformations.

Accountabilities

Training Strategy and Planning:

  • Create a roadmap and develop a comprehensive training strategy for SAP S/4 HANA Finance and Procurement & Supply Management modules that align with transformation timeline and business objectives.

Content Development and Delivery:

  • Develop and deliver training content for SAP S/4 HANA Finance and Procurement & Supply Management functionalities, processes, and best practices by collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs), Functional Consultants, Product Manager, Product Owners and technical teams to ensure that training materials are up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with the business requirements.
  • Generate training materials like manuals, e-learning modules, quick reference guides, and video tutorials for end-users and conduct both virtual and in-person training sessions, ensuring a clear, structured approach to complex topics, and provide hands-on demonstrations of the system.

End-User Training and Enablement:

  • Conduct targeted workshops, scenario-based training, and hands-on exercises to ensure users are proficient with SAP S/4HANA, and to ensure adoption of SAP S/4HANA.
  • Develop knowledge transfer mechanisms to ensure smooth handover from implementation teams to end-users.
  • Monitor user progress and provide post-training support, including troubleshooting issues and clarifying system usage.

Feedback, Evaluation, and Continuous Improvement:

  • Collect feedback from trainees and stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor post-training performance to assess user adoption, application of knowledge, and resolve any emerging training gaps.
  • Revise and update training materials as necessary to ensure alignment with future system updates or enhancements.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Develop and maintain detailed reports or dashboards on training activities, participation, progress, and outcomes.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation and track user completion

Education & Experience

  • Proven SAP S/4 HANA trainer with a minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP training with multiple S/4 HANA implementations. Aviation knowledge is desirable.
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Master’s degree would be a strong advantage. SAP S/4HANA certification in Finance or Procurement & Supply Management modules is desirable.
  • Expertise in adult learning principles, training methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, Agile), and training tools (e.g., Learning Management Systems, SAP Enable Now, SAP Learning Hub).
  • Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Procurement & Supply Management modules, including key functionalities, configurations, and workflows.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud, and other SAP front-end technologies.
  • Excellent O365 product skills, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, and good knowledge on other MS Office tools
