Job Description

The Sales Manager for our Software as a Service (SAAS) division is a pivotal role responsible for leading our sales team to reach key revenue targets and expand our customer base. This position requires a dynamic leader with a thorough understanding of the SAAS industry and a strategic mind to develop effective sales strategies. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in driving sales growth and building relationships with clients. They will work closely with executive management, marketing, and product teams to align sales strategies with business goals. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies for the SAAS market.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate a high-performing sales team to exceed revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships to boost sales opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure product offerings meet client expectations.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and report on sales forecasts, budgeting, and projections to senior management.
  • Negotiate and close agreements with large, corporate clients and key stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends to inform strategic decisions and sales tactics.
  • Implement improvements in the sales process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements in all sales operations.
  • Participate in recruitment, training, and mentoring of new sales team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a SAAS environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management or leadership roles.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales metrics and data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and team members.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales performance tracking tools.
