Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Department (OPD) team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will hold a DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license and have experience in providing high-quality nursing care in an outpatient setting. In this role, the Registered Nurse will be responsible for assisting physicians, supporting patients throughout their treatment, and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care. Strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential for success in this position. Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to outpatient department patients with diverse needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to assess, plan, and implement patient care.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by doctors and healthcare practitioners.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and document all patient interactions and care accurately.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans effectively.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, tests, and procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients and staff in the outpatient clinic.
  • Utilize medical equipment and instruments safely and efficiently following established protocols.
  • Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and quality care standards in all actions.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to medical emergencies, activating emergency protocols appropriately.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with nursing practices and standards.
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive, and collaborative working environment within the OPD team.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid DHA license, permitting practice as a registered nurse in Dubai.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or an equivalent qualification recognized by authorities.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an outpatient or clinical setting, ideally.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-focused approach to care.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong organizational and critical thinking skills to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records and clinical documentation software.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with healthcare trends.
