Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical QA/QC Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products/software through rigorous testing and quality control processes.

  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards
  • Design, execute, and document test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Perform thorough testing of products/software to identify defects and areas for improvement
  • Utilize defect tracking and management tools to log, track, and verify bug fixes
  • Conduct statistical analysis and interpret data to drive quality improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations, ensuring compliance throughout the development process
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and methodologies
  • Provide regular reports on quality metrics and test results to stakeholders

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC engineering, preferably in the software or manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance and quality control methodologies
  • Proficiency in various testing techniques and strategies
  • Experience with defect tracking and management tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong statistical analysis and data interpretation abilities
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations relevant to the field
  • Proficiency in test automation tools
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle or manufacturing processes (depending on the specific focus)
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Six Sigma) preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
