Job Description

Our client seeks an accomplished QA Engineer specializing in automation to join a forward-looking team in Dubai. The position focuses on architecting reliable mobile UI automation for Android and iOS, building modular testing frameworks, and expanding API test coverage. You will partner with developers and operations to embed automated tests into CI/CD pipelines within an Agile setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and sustain robust mobile automation scripts for Android and iOS using Appium or equivalent tools.
• Design scalable automation frameworks in Java or Python with emphasis on maintainability and reuse.
• Drive API testing efforts across HTTP services, incorporating reliability, performance, and security considerations.
• Embed automated tests into CI/CD workflows to accelerate feedback and improve deployment confidence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine acceptance criteria and ensure testability throughout the product lifecycle.
• Mentor junior QA colleagues and advocate best practices in automation across the organization.
  
  

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in mobile UI automation testing for Android and iOS using Appium or comparable tools.
• Strong coding proficiency in Java or Python, with the ability to craft modular, reusable automation components.
• Hands-on API testing background, including HTTP services; familiarity with gRPC is advantageous.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines within Agile environments.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and collaborative skills for working with diverse teams.
