Job Purpose

To manage the planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of assigned projects, ensuring completion in accordance with approved scope, budget, programme, quality standards, and organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned projects from planning and design through construction, completion, and handover.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and delivery requirements.
  • Coordinate activities across Design, Technical, Commercial, Procurement, Construction, HSE, and other project functions.
  • Manage consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and other project service providers to ensure timely and effective delivery.
  • Monitor project progress against approved schedules, budgets, and key performance indicators.
  • Identify project risks, issues, delays, and dependencies and implement appropriate mitigation and recovery actions.
  • Monitor project costs, commitments, forecasts, variations, and expenditure in coordination with the Commercial team.
  • Manage project scope and change control processes and assess potential impacts on cost, programme, and delivery.
  • Conduct regular project progress and coordination meetings and ensure agreed actions are followed through.
  • Review project documentation, schedules, reports, technical submissions, and contractor deliverables.
  • Coordinate with relevant authorities and stakeholders to support required approvals, permits, and project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, HSE standards, quality requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams, consultants, contractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare regular project status reports covering progress, programme, budget, risks, issues, and key actions.
  • Escalate significant project risks, delays, commercial matters, and other issues to senior management where required.
  • Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, handover, and project close-out activities.
  • Support continuous improvement and lessons learned across project delivery activities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Professional project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent would be an advantage.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of relevant project management experience, preferably within real estate development, construction, infrastructure, or major project environments.
  • Proven experience managing projects through multiple stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of project planning, cost control, contracts, risk management, HSE, and quality requirements.
  • Good knowledge of project management systems, reporting processes, and project controls.
