Core Accountabilities

  • Analyze project engineering requirements and support the assigned project for timely completion.
  • Assist in preparation and implementation of Project Execution Plan (PEP).
  • Support the Planning and Forecasting processes as well as variance analysis. Accumulates, analyzes and reports to management complete information regarding results of production.
  • Assist in defining and managing projects scope, plans and timelines, project costs, project integration and projects communication processes to ensure that all processes are applied and followed.
  • Coordinate with relevant functions for documentation review and approval of new and revised documents.
  • Implement the project and configuration management policies and standards
  • Ensure changes to the configuration tools and processes are properly approved and communicated
  • Interrogate and manipulate the BOMs (bill of materials) for suitability for bids and manufacture.
  • Work to configuration and documentation BOM Preparation and importing requests from production team.
  • Prepare BoMs for loading into the ERP system
  • Continually study and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes related to production.
  • Develop tools and techniques to identify, measure, and assess the gaps and integrations deficiencies between the business processes under production.
  • Propose recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of processes and their integration.
  • Propose recommendations to improve the internal controls and monitor their effective implementation.
  • Develop and ensure continuous update for the risk register for production.
  • Define project scope and objectives, and takes it from original concept through final implementation.
  • Ensure proper development of project schedules, plans and specifications.
  • Supervise any improvement project planning phase for estimating time requirements, establishing deadlines, monitoring milestone completion, tracking all phases of the project/service lifecycle.
  • Ensure proper monitoring for the progress of the various projects on regular basis, and provide timely reporting of issues that impact project progress.
  • Anticipate, mitigate and resolve bottlenecks, and conflicts that may hinder the progress of the projects.
  • Initiate product cost reduction projects based on the financial studies developed.
  • Provide single point of contact for assigned projects to make decisions, coordinates interaction and communication among team members.
  • Identify and coordinate assignments of internal resources and external consultants (if any) to meet project requirements.
  • Deliver projects to a high standard:
  • Using corporate / recognized project management standards
  • Develop realistic project, quality and risk plans
  • Monitor and control project team performance against plans, reporting as appropriate
  • Review projects regularly and capture lessons learnt.

Experience & Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or related discipline.
  • PMP Certification is preferred.
  • 5 years’ experience in the related field.
  • Configuration and Documentation management experience.
