Principal Transportation Planner

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Principal Transportation Planner to join our team! In this role you will take full ownership of transportation studies and authority approvals in Abu Dhabi, delivering end-to-end technical outputs and leading submissions through approval.

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare transportation master plans and traffic impact studies for small and large developments including data collection and analysis, and develop and analyze mitigation measures.
• Carry out urban \metropolitan transportation planning and traffic engineering tasks including corridor studies and regional network studies.
• Perform operational analysis using standard packages including SYNCHRO, SIDRA, HCS, and VISSIM.
• Familiarity with travel demand models.
• Collaborate with road design and urban planning teams.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years hands-on experience in transportation planning including conduct of transportation impacts studies and transportation master plans.
• Strong Experience using operational and/or travel demand modeling analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

• Master Degree in Transportation Planning or related discipline.
• Experience in public transportation and non-motorized transportation planning.
• Strong Abu Dhabi authority/ITC approvals experience.
