principal Software engineer

Overview

Looking for seasoned, self-driven and innovative Principal Software Engineer to design elegant software solutions for highly complex requirements, leading the development, configuration, or modification of new solutions, and resolving architectural/design deficiencies, while ensuring application efficiency & reliability across G42's portfolio of products & services.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the design and architecture of high-quality, complex systems and software environments across the G42 Group.

Functional

• Prepare, review and evaluate software specifications for G42's diverse portfolio of products and solutions.
• Develop proof of concept designs and implement them as product features with specific focus on diagnostics and serviceability of customer platforms.
• Engage in all aspects of software development, working to create and maintain the most reliable, secure, high-performance and high throughput service for customers.
• Collaborate with software architects, product designers, product managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to iteratively transform high-level requirements into product enhancements that are delivered to consumers incrementally and continually.
• Gather specific requirements, suggest solutions and design interfaces to improve user experience.
• Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions, and troubleshoot & debug systems to optimize performance.
• Help set an example and a standard for high quality code review and analysis.
• Manage risk identification and risk mitigation strategies associated with the architecture.
• Contribute to improvements in the processes and deliverables that increase the efficiency of the team in responding to customer and business needs.
  
  

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Minimum 12 years of experience in software development
• Minimum 6 years of experience in full stack programming in the analytics industry
• Experience in reverse engineering
