Job Description

A Portfolio Manager is a professional responsible for managing investment portfolios on behalf of clients, ensuring optimum returns while adhering to the clients' specified investment goals and tolerance for risk. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of financial markets, economic trends, and financial instruments including stocks, bonds, and derivatives. Portfolio Managers must stay informed about market conditions and possess the analytical skills necessary to assess potential investments. Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed investment reports and presentations for client reviews and meetings.

  • Assess and manage risk levels in relation to client-specific guidelines and objectives.
  • Build strong client relationships through effective communication and trustworthy interactions.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with industry innovations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in portfolio management or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of successful investment management for multiple clients.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and financial reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
  • Ability to make informed decisions under market pressure and uncertainty.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA or CFP are strongly preferred.
