Plumber

Responsibilities

• Install and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, and fittings in buildings.
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with contractors and construction workers on plumbing installations.
• Interpret building plans and blueprints for effective plumbing layouts.
• Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls and provide timely solutions.
• Install appliances and equipment such as water heaters and softeners.
• Maintain records of materials used, time spent, and work performed.
• Comply with local, state, and federal plumbing codes and regulations.
• Provide clients with cost estimates for plumbing services and installations.
• Use different plumbing tools and equipment safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required for this position.
• State-issued plumbing license or certification is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in professional plumbing work.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and safety standards.
