What will I be doing?

As Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the smooth and safe operation of the hotel’s central plant systems, ensuring that heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and utility services meet the highest standards of performance and efficiency. You will support the Engineering leadership team in maintaining optimal guest comfort and operational readiness throughout the pre-opening and beyond.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring, operating, and maintaining all plant equipment, including chillers, pumps, boilers, compressors, and water systems.
• Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with Hilton standards and local regulations.
• Recording operating parameters, analyzing performance, and reporting irregularities promptly.
• Supporting energy conservation initiatives and ensuring compliance with Hilton’s LightStay sustainability program.
• Assisting the engineering team with daily operations, emergency procedures, and safety protocols.
• Ensuring all equipment rooms and plant areas are well-maintained, clean, and hazard-free.
  
  
  

What are we looking for?

A Plant Operator serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should demonstrate the following:

• Previous experience as a Plant Operator or in a similar role, ideally within hospitality or large-scale facilities.
• Technical knowledge of central plant equipment and building systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and operating parameters.
• A commitment to safety, energy efficiency, and environmental responsibility.
• Flexibility to work in shifts and handle emergency situations.
