Job Description

The Key Accounts Manager is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for managing and expanding relationships with strategically important clients. This position requires a professional with a blend of exceptional interpersonal skills and business acumen. The Key Accounts Manager will need to identify client needs through continuous engagement and deliver value through effective communication and delivery of tailored business solutions. The role involves taking ownership of key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and achieving company growth targets through strategic account management. Success in this position hinges on the ability to forge strong, trust-based relationships with clients, while leveraging opportunities to drive revenue and enhance client loyalty.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Understand client needs and business strategies to offer customized solutions effectively.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the company and assigned clients.
  • Anticipate changes in clients' needs and business environments proactively.
  • Conduct regular status meetings and provide detailed account analysis reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to up-sell or cross-sell products and services to clients.
  • Address and resolve any issues, complaints, or conflicts promptly with clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize revenue and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activities relevant to key accounts.
  • Prepare regular reports on account status, forecasts, and key developments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in client interactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required.
  • Proven track record of success in Key Account Management or Sales roles.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a consultative approach.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and PowerPoint.
