Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair computer hardware and software issues promptly and effectively.

• Provide technical support to staff and clients facing computer problems.
• Perform regular system updates and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
• Document all technical issues and solutions in the service management system.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining local area networks and internet connections.
• Ensure data security and perform regular data backups and recovery tests.
• Collaborate with IT team members on complex technical problems and projects.
• Train employees on the proper use of hardware and software as needed.
• Maintain an inventory of hardware and software, ensuring timely procurement of resources.
• Stay updated with the latest technological trends and best practices in IT support.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and protocols regarding IT operations and data management.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Computer Technician or in a similar IT role.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in technical environments.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical users.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of an IT team.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent are preferred.
