MEP Engineer (225-818)

An MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Engineer plays a critical role in building and construction projects by ensuring that mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are effectively integrated. The MEP Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and coordinating these systems, ensuring that they are functional, efficient, and in compliance with all relevant codes and regulations. They work closely with architects, other engineers, and construction teams to ensure that the building’s systems meet the project’s specifications and client requirements. Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for building projects.
• Coordinate with architects and construction teams for system integration.
• Analyze building plans and specifications to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor installation and system performance.
• Identify and resolve issues related to MEP systems during construction.
• Review and approve technical drawings and documentation from subcontractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field.
• At least 3 years of experience in MEP engineering or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse project teams.
• Strong project management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
