As an LV Cable Electrical Technician, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of low voltage electrical cables and systems. This position requires a high degree of technical skill and expertise, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure that electrical systems are safe, reliable, and efficient. Responsibilities

• Install low voltage cables according to specifications and safety standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure continuous functionality.
• Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner.
• Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify necessary repairs or upgrades.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians on complex assignments and installations.
• Prepare and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics accurately.
• Monitor and test electrical systems using specialized testing equipment and tools.
• Ensure that all electrical installations comply with applicable codes and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Provide expert advice to clients regarding the maintenance and safety of electrical systems.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines during work processes.
• Manage inventory levels for necessary electrical components and tools as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in low voltage cable installations.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical diagrams and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of industry-standard practices and electrical safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently on multiple assignments.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
