A Logistics Specialist is instrumental in managing the supply chain processes of an organization, ensuring that materials, goods, and products move efficiently and seamlessly from suppliers to customers. In the role of Logistics Specialist 04N25, you will be responsible for coordinating complex logistics operations, enhancing transport and distribution processes, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The position requires a candidate with a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment. As a Logistics Specialist, you will collaborate with various departments, including procurement, warehousing, transportation, and customer service, to streamline operations and reduce costs while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Your role is vital in supporting the company’s overall operational success, making sure all logistical aspects are optimized for maximum efficiency.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the movement of goods to ensure timely delivery.
  • Develop and implement efficient logistics processes to minimize costs.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and transportation companies to streamline operations.
  • Monitor and evaluate logistics KPIs to improve operational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international transport and logistics regulations.
  • Address any logistical issues or hurdles that may arise in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all logistics transactions and inventory levels.
  • Analyze data to forecast logistics needs and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to meet customer expectations.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts related to transportation and logistics services.
  • Oversee the management and efficiency of warehouse operations.
  • Coordinate quality control processes and ensure safety standards are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary for this position.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with various stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with logistics software systems, such as WMS and TMS, is essential.
  • Understanding of international and local transportation regulations and processes.
  • Proven track record of managing and optimizing logistics operations efficiently.
