Job Description

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and materials through the supply chain for our organization. Your primary focus will be to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of goods from suppliers to customers, optimizing transportation routes, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely deliveries. Your attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills will be essential in coordinating with various departments and external partners to streamline logistics operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire logistics process, from order placement to product delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Our ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the supply chain process ensuring timely product delivery.
  • Optimize transportation routes to improve efficiency and reduce logistics costs.
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and schedules.
  • Track shipments and update internal systems with real-time status information.
  • Collaborate with various departments to streamline and improve logistics processes.
  • Analyze logistics data to identify trends and make informed decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with logistics policies, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies for reducing inventory and delivery times.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of all logistics activities and transactions.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies with shipments and deliveries promptly.
  • Assist in the development of budgets and forecast logistics needs and costs.
  • Maintain open communication lines with customers to enhance service satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management techniques.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
