Lifeguard - InterContinental Residences Abu Dhabi

Are you passionate about ensuring the safety and well-being of others? InterContinental Residences Abu Dhabi is looking for a vigilant, responsible, and professional Lifeguard to join our team. In this key role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure pool environment for all guests, ensuring they have a memorable and enjoyable experience.

As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for supervising guests at the pool, enforcing safety rules, and responding quickly and efficiently to emergencies. If you have a commitment to safety and a passion for helping others, we want to hear from you!

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly do:

• Supervise the pool area and ensure all guests adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Monitor and ensure the safety of swimmers, guests, and children at all times.
• Provide immediate first aid and CPR assistance in the event of an emergency.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment.
• Perform regular water safety checks, including pool cleanliness, water temperature, and chemical levels.
• Assist guests with any pool-related needs, ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
• Maintain and inspect lifesaving equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition at all times.
• Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or guest concerns to management.
• Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Attend regular training sessions to keep current with life-saving techniques and safety protocols.
  
  

What we need from you:

• Experience: Previous experience as a Lifeguard in a hotel, resort, or similar environment is preferred.
• Certifications: Valid Lifeguard Certification, CPR, and First Aid certification.
• Skills: Strong swimming skills, keen attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
• Personality: Friendly, approachable, and able to maintain composure in emergency situations.
