Job Description

The position of Lead - ERP Projects involves overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for an organization. The role is central to ensuring that all ERP projects are executed efficiently, effectively, and in alignment with strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of ERP systems, experience in leading project teams, and a track record of successful project delivery. This position requires strong leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams, excellent communication abilities to liaise with stakeholders, and a strategic mindset to drive business growth through optimized ERP solutions. The Lead - ERP Projects is crucial in facilitating seamless operations, improving business processes, and maintaining system integrity and security.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of ERP projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables for success.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather and define system requirements.
  • Ensure ERP projects align with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to facilitate effective project implementation.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to project deliverables and timelines.
  • Oversee the customization and configuration of ERP systems per business needs.
  • Monitor and report on project progress and performance to stakeholders regularly.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project managers and technical teams.
  • Evaluate the ERP system’s effectiveness and recommend improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and ensure data security protocols.
  • Facilitate training and support for end users on new system functionalities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in leading complex ERP projects successfully to completion.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills to drive project success.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaison with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively under pressure.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
