MEP Commissioning Manager (225-1001)

As an MEP Commissioning Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within construction projects. Your role is critical in overseeing the commissioning process from planning to validation, ensuring that all systems meet design specifications and operate efficiently. You will be tasked with coordinating and supervising all activities involving commissioning, from testing to adjusting, and balancing building systems as well as compiling comprehensive reports on system performance. With a strong focus on quality assurance and control, you will work closely with construction teams, engineers, and project managers, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all technical and regulatory requirements. Demonstrating strong leadership skills, you will guide your team to achieve project goals while maintaining health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the commissioning of MEP systems across multiple construction projects.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• Lead a team of engineers and technicians in commissioning activities.
• Develop and implement detailed commissioning plans and schedules.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of all commissioning processes and results.
• Collaborate with design teams to address any discrepancies in system performance.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess the progress of commissioning activities.
• Provide technical expertise and support during the development of commissioning procedures.
• Ensure that systems are properly tested, balanced, and calibrated before project closeout.

• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations within all project activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP commissioning or a similar role.
• Proven track record of managing MEP commissioning projects successfully.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in construction.
• Excellent leadership and project management skills to guide teams effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and efficiency.
