Lead Engineer - DevSecOps

Overview

As a Lead DevOps Engineer at Inception, you will architect, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and automated Azure cloud environments. You will lead infrastructure design, automation practices, and operational excellence across distributed AI and enterprise systems.

In this role, you will define DevOps strategies for mission-critical AI platforms. You will leverage advanced automation, IaC tooling, and cloud-native capabilities to ensure resilient operations, strong governance, and robust security across all environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment, and operation of Azure IaaS environments with an emphasis on networking, security, and observability.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code for automated provisioning and environment consistency.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and drive automation of deployment, testing, and operational workflows.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and cloud governance frameworks.
• Optimize cloud performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Define and implement monitoring, logging, and incident-response standards.
• Mentor DevOps engineers and promote continuous improvement in cloud operations.
• Support production readiness, change management, and post-deployment stability.
  
  

Qualifications

• Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience (8+ years in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure operations).
• Deep technical expertise in Azure IaaS, networking components, and security controls.
• Strong background in IaC, automation, and container orchestration.
• Experience working with enterprise-grade CI/CD systems.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
• Azure and security certifications are preferred.
