We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Capacity/Resource Planning Manager to join our Gas Services Solutions – Operational Excellence Team at Siemens Energy. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for orchestrating complex resource capacity planning for our solutions business, seamlessly integrating diverse inputs such as demand and supply from various functions, while also monitoring the hiring plan to ensure alignment with resource needs. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring optimal resource allocation and utilization. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including resource managers, functional heads, and project teams, to drive excellence in resource planning and contribute to the continuous improvement of our operational processes.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Develop and implement strategies for complex resource capacity planning, integrating demand and supply inputs to ensure optimal resource allocation. Oversee and monitor the hiring plan on monthly basis to ensure it aligns with resource needs and supports business objectives.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including resource managers, functional heads, and project teams, to drive resource planning excellence and address any capacity-related challenges.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within resource planning, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in operations. Analyze resource data and generate reports to provide insights into capacity utilization and future resource requirements.
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in resource planning processes, leveraging best practices and innovative solutions. Assess and mitigate risks associated with resource capacity planning, ensuring business continuity and resilience.
- Ensure resource planning processes comply with internal standards and external regulations, including ISO standards. Provide guidance and training to team members and stakeholders on resource planning tools and methodologies.
- Contribute to strategic planning efforts by providing insights and recommendations on resource capacity and hiring needs. Drive digitalization efforts within resource planning by implementing advanced digital tools and technologies to enhance data accuracy, streamline processes, and improve decision-making.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate digital solutions into resource planning processes, ensuring seamless operation and improved efficiency.
What You Bring
- Educational background in business or a related field. Professional experience in solution business within the energy industry.
- Resource / capacity planning experience in complex solution project business
- Intercultural experience, working with diverse teams. Intercultural skills to understand and effectively respond to different cultural affinities. Strong conflict management skills, with the ability to handle complaints and disputes.
- Possessing excellent relationship-building and networking skills to establish positive relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders, along with strong leadership and people management abilities to navigate teams and deliver long-term results.
- Analytical approach and problem-solving skills to address work-related issues and develop solutions. Strategic thinking skills to generate unique business insights and opportunities.
- Process automation with AI techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Entrepreneurial mindset to challenge the status quo and find opportunities.
- Advanced process optimization skills, focusing on productivity, operational excellence, cost awareness, and simplification methods.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
