Job Description

The Key Account Sales Executive is a pivotal role within our sales team, tasked with driving and expanding relationships with our most strategic clients. This role is fundamental to the business's success and growth, requiring a keen understanding of each client's needs and goals. The Key Account Sales Executive is responsible for nurturing long-term partnerships with key stakeholders, ensuring a smooth customer journey and optimal satisfaction. As part of this role, you will handle customized client queries, liaise with cross-functional teams, and develop strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to tackle challenges with innovative solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts to drive growth.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to tailor promotional efforts for clients.
  • Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities and performance for management.
  • Monitor competitive activity and industry trends to keep our offerings relevant.
  • Organize and participate in client meetings, presentations, and events.
  • Resolve client issues promptly to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with product teams to ensure products meet customer needs.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations that demonstrate product features and benefits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building relationships.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to handle multiple key client accounts with a focused approach.
  • Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend conferences.
