Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and well-organized IT Support Associate to join our dynamic team. The chosen candidate will be entrusted with providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. In this dynamic role, you will address queries in a timely manner, providing support both in person and remotely. Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to IT support requests from staff and clients daily.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, peripherals, and software.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems and networking.
  • Document solutions and processes for common and recurring technical problems.
  • Assist in hardware and software inventory management and tracking activities.
  • Provide technical assistance and training on new or upgraded systems.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to develop new processes and improve efficiency.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior support personnel or management.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures in all operations.
  • Set up and configure new employee workstations and ensure proper installation.
  • Assist in the implementation of security measures to protect the organization’s data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support or equivalent role required.
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and various software applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Experience with Windows and MacOS operating systems and office productivity tools.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with IT Service Management software and ticketing systems is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and organizational abilities.
