Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Support Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting the technological infrastructure of our company, ensuring optimal performance across various platforms. You will work directly with end-users to resolve IT issues, offer technical support, and maintain equipment. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and proficiency in new technologies. As an IT Support Associate, you will engage with a variety of hardware and software systems, requiring a methodical approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving. Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues.
  • Respond to queries in person, over the phone, or via email.
  • Monitor and maintain technology to ensure optimal running conditions.
  • Diagnose hardware and software issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Set up and configure new hardware and software for end-users.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring appropriate access levels.
  • Document troubleshooting processes and solutions for future reference.
  • Collaborate with other IT staff to improve internal processes and systems.
  • Train users on new technologies and system updates as required.
  • Execute routine system checks to prevent future hardware or software failures.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for equipment maintenance as necessary.
  • Participate in developing and maintaining disaster recovery plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in IT support or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and various software applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Proficient with ticketing systems and remote access tools for troubleshooting.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and handle after-hours support as needed.
