IT Project Manager - Hardware (225-613)

An IT Project Manager specializing in hardware is responsible for overseeing hardware-related projects from initiation through completion. Responsibilities

• Plan, initiate, and manage hardware-related IT projects to meet defined objectives.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the efficient execution of projects.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and monitor project progress and performance.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation to maintain the project's timeline.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks and resolve any issues that arise.
• Coordinate with cross-discipline team members to make sure all parties are on track with project requirements.
• Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors to procure necessary hardware resources.
• Track project deliverables, monitor them with analytical tools, and report on milestones achieved.
• Present clear, comprehensive project updates to senior management and project stakeholders.
• Evaluate and monitor the hardware quality and ensure that outcomes meet defined project standards.
• Conduct post-project evaluation and produce key learning documents to improve future projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven working experience as a project manager in the IT/hardware sector.
• Solid technical background with understanding and hands-on experience in hardware technologies.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Experience with vendor management and hardware procurement processes.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives successfully.
