Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on existing HVAC systems.
• Diagnose HVAC system problems and determine appropriate repair solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable standards and HVAC codes.
• Estimate and order parts and equipment necessary for HVAC repairs and maintenance.
• Coordinate with clients to plan installation and service schedules effectively.
• Keep detailed records of all work performed and parts used.
• Maintain tools and HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to client inquiries promptly.
• Stay updated with the latest HVAC technologies and service methods.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians and apprentices.
• Adhere to all safety standards and work practices at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification preferred.
• Minimum of three years' experience in the HVAC industry or related field.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components, including refrigeration cycles.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and wiring schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
• Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and power tools.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy equipment.
