Job Description

The HR & Operations Manager is a pivotal role within the organization, combining strategic human resource management with efficient operational oversight. This position is crucial in ensuring that the company's human capital serves the best interests of both the business and its employees. The candidate will be responsible for enhancing business performance as well as developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company's goals. The position requires a keen understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance, alongside a strong aptitude for managing operational processes and implementing effective business strategies. The HR & Operations Manager is expected to serve as a strategic partner to leadership, fostering a work environment that encourages high performance and employee engagement.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Maintain the company's HR policies and ensure legal compliance across human resources functions.
  • Manage the daily operations of the HR department, including budget management.
  • Provide decision support through HR metrics and data analytics to leadership.
  • Collaborate with operations to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce bottlenecks.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of processes and systems within HR and operations.
  • Lead employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Create training programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
  • Coordinate with department heads to identify and resolve HR-related challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR & Operations Manager or similar managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor legislation, HR policies, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills suitable for a professional setting.
  • Analytical abilities to identify trends and make strategic recommendations.
  • Proficiency in HR management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
