Job Description

The HR Manager plays a crucial role in shaping the work environment and culture of a company. This strategic role involves overseeing the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of employees while ensuring that the company complies with local, state, and federal employment laws. The HR Manager acts as a bridge between the company’s management and employees, working to foster a positive working environment that encourages productivity and employee satisfaction. They are responsible for developing HR strategies that align with the company's goals while driving continuous improvement in human resources processes and policies. An ideal candidate should possess excellent leadership skills, be adept in conflict resolution, and demonstrate a strong understanding of various HR functions.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program to ensure competitive compensation and employee satisfaction.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs as necessary.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics and data analysis.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management by staying updated with labor laws.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to meet organizational workforce demands.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
  • Promote corporate values and shape a positive culture through a transparent and inclusive HR strategy.
  • Oversee and manage a team of HR professionals, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Handle disciplinary matters and terminations with sensitivity and adherence to organizational policy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices is essential.
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills is required.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills are necessary.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels.
  • HR certification, such as SHRM-CP or PHR, is a plus and highly advantageous.
