Job Description

The HR Assistant is integral in supporting the Human Resources department by performing various administrative tasks and services to ensure effective and efficient operations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The HR Assistant will be responsible for maintaining employee records, assisting with payroll processing, and providing overall support to HR efforts. This position plays a key role in fostering a supportive workplace culture and ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will exhibit professionalism, confidentiality, and be committed to enhancing employee relations and HR processes in line with the company’s objectives and values.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR files in compliance with company policies.
  • Assist with the processing of payroll, ensuring timely and accurate execution of payroll functions.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, meetings, and HR events as necessary.
  • Support onboarding procedures, including preparation of materials and conducting orientation for new hires.
  • Provide administrative support in recruitment processes, including job postings and resume screenings.
  • Monitor and manage employee benefits, assisting with employee queries and benefit claims.
  • Assist in the implementation and administration of HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate training sessions and seminars, and assist in evaluating employee training needs.
  • Prepare and maintain reports related to HR tasks and monitor key HR metrics.
  • Help to resolve employee inquiries or refer them to the appropriate departments or personnel.
  • Ensure company compliance with HR-related regulations by staying informed of legislative changes.
  • Contribute to a positive workplace culture by promoting company-wide HR initiatives and programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • At least 1-2 years of HR-related experience is highly desirable for this role.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and time-management skills are essential.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • A demonstrated commitment to fostering a productive and positive workplace culture.
