The Food & Beverage Supervisor 08D25 is a pivotal role in the hospitality industry that focuses on overseeing the operations of food and beverage services within a hospitality establishment. Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily operations of the food and beverage department to ensure efficiency.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of service standards and operational policies.
  • Ensure all employees uphold the company's high standards of customer service consistently.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to guarantee smooth, efficient service delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
  • Conduct regular inspections of dining and service areas for cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Respond to customer complaints and feedback to improve service and satisfaction.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate staff to ensure a competent and cohesive team.
  • Work with management to organize special events and personalize food service requirements.
  • Compile reports on operations and submit them to management for strategic review.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations across all service areas.
  • Facilitate communication between departments to streamline service and reinforce collaboration.

Requirements

  • A degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a supervisory role in food services.
  • Proficient knowledge of food and beverage service operations and practices.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle complaints effectively.
  • Capability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage operations efficiently.
