Job Description

The Finance Manager plays a crucial role in any organization by ensuring efficient financial management and stability. This position involves overseeing financial planning, managing financial risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting. The Finance Manager is tasked with developing financial strategies, analyzing market trends, and providing financial insights to aid in decision-making processes. A successful Finance Manager requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with various departments to drive the organization’s financial performance forward. In addition to technical financial expertise, leadership, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills are critical, as this role involves significant interaction with senior management, stakeholders, and external partners. The Finance Manager will also be instrumental in managing budgets, optimizing financial processes, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve commercial objectives and growth.
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports and forecasts.
  • Lead the budgeting process and monitor financial performance against budgets.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks within the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with financial laws, regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Collaborate with senior management on strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Manage and optimize cash flow to ensure liquidity and solvency.
  • Lead the finance team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Analyze market trends to identify business opportunities and financial risks.
  • Coordinate external audits and facilitate stakeholder communications on financial matters.
  • Oversee the organization’s financial IT system and manage upgrades or improvements.
  • Foster relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other key partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in financial management or similar roles.
  • Proven expertise in financial analysis, strategy development, and forecasting.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting standards.
  • Proficient in financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills are essential.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or similar is highly preferred.
