EYFS Class Teacher – November 2025 Start

School: International Community School (ICS), Al Manhal Campus, Abu Dhabi

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate EYFS Class Teacher to join our team from November 2025.

As a BSO-accredited school, ICS Al Manhal follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework, providing a nurturing and inspiring early learning environment for our youngest learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences in line with the EYFS Framework
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where all children feel valued
  • Support children’s development across all areas of learning, including communication, language, physical, personal, social, and emotional development
  • Use observations and assessments to monitor progress and inform next steps
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure a consistent approach across the Early Years team
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to school-wide initiatives
  • Maintain strong, open communication with parents and carers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) with specialisation in Early Years, or PGCE with QTS and EYFS experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience teaching in an EYFS setting (UK preferred)
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and child-centred approaches to learning
  • Creative, flexible, and nurturing teaching style
  • Excellent classroom organisation and behaviour management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • ADEK approval or eligibility is an advantage
  • ECTs are welcome to apply – an induction programme is available (please note, the ECT programme is payable by the candidate)
