Responsibilities
ROLE PURPOSE
You will drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of next-generation, AI-powered satellite communication products for our portfolio of high-profile government and commercial clients. Reporting to the Head of Product Engineering, you will deliver innovative, high-quality solutions across Land, Maritime, and Aerospace segments advancing the company’s mission to scale our sovereign space capabilities while expanding our global footprint in AI-powered space technology.
Responsibilities
Develop, refine, and manage product specifications for Satcom solutions, working closely with internal stakeholders including Product Engineering, Delivery, and Commercial teams.
Review incoming proposals, RFPs, and vendor submissions to ensure technical excellence and market alignment across new and existing products.
Own and update product roadmaps for Land, Maritime, and Aero segments, with emphasis on serving government and international markets.
Coordinate closely with manufacturers and technology partners to drive new product development and integration of advanced AI capabilities.
Lead the full lifecycle of product introduction—from specification, partner engagement, and beta trials, through go-to-market strategies, launch, and post-launch support.
Monitor technical and commercial performance, ensuring outcomes align with business targets and providing early indication of deviations from strategic plans.
Oversee quality of service for all existing products, collaborating with sales, operations, IT, customer care, and network teams, ensuring customer satisfaction at every step.
Continuously analyze and enhance business processes associated with products, driving efficiency and seamless partner interfaces.
Benchmark and assess competitive offerings, implementing ongoing product testing and market intelligence to maintain a strategic edge.
Initiate and recommend product enhancements, troubleshooting strategies, and innovative solutions that support operational and commercial excellence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product performance, customer experience, and market positioning.
Support product engineering and system delivery teams during technical and commercial rollouts to ensure timely, successful launches.
Provide comprehensive market and pricing analysis to ensure product competitiveness and profitability.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
Master’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or related specialization is a plus.
Management Professional (PMP), Certified Product Manager (CPM), or equivalent certifications.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in satellite telecommunications services within the land, maritime or aerospace sector.
Demonstrated expertise in product development, market introduction, and lifecycle management in Telco, Satcom, or IT industries.
Proven record of innovation—facilitating brainstorming, assessing creative ideas, and translating concepts to actionable, market-ready products.
Solid understanding of business plan development, data analysis, and performance monitoring.
Additional Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to create insightful reports, make compelling presentations, and promote cross-functional dialogue.
Robust analytical and solution-oriented mindset, to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions.
Customer-focus with a track record of leveraging client feedback for continuous product improvement.
Strong interpersonal skills, to build rapport with colleagues and clients across cultural and functional boundaries.
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, drive collaboration, and resolve high-tension situations diplomatically.
