Responsibilities

• Adhere to state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code.
• Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
• Manage and install complete electrical systems in new and existing buildings.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers on construction plans and blueprints.
• Ensure that electrical systems are installed and functioning according to specifications.
• Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they remain in good working condition.
• Power system troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation in a timely manner.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches for conduit runs.
• Utilize appropriate tools and abide by strict safety guidelines and standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on technical skills.
• Completion of an electrician apprenticeship or vocational training program required.
• Valid electrician license with proficiency in electrical codes and regulations.
• Minimum two years of experience working as a licensed electrician preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, diagrams, and schematics.
• Ability to use electrical testing devices like multimeters and oscilloscopes.
