Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Ensure electrical systems comply with local and national electrical codes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues and malfunctions efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
• Identify electrical problems using a range of testing devices and equipment.
• Work collaboratively with other construction professionals on-site for projects.
• Adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment.
• Maintain records of all electrical inspections, installations, and repairs conducted.
• Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
• Order necessary equipment and materials required for electrical projects.
• Train and oversee apprentices and less experienced electricians as needed.
• Stay updated with the latest electrical technologies and industry standards.

Requirements

• Valid electrician license or certification as per local regulations.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as an electrician.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and construction techniques.
• Proficiency with electrical testing tools, including voltmeters and ohmmeters.
• Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
