Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Role Overview:

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of cloud-native and hybrid systems. This role bridges development and operations, enabling faster and more secure software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

CI/CD & Automation

• Design and maintain YAML-based multi-stage pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or IBM UrbanCode
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD workflows.
  
  

Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering

• Develop and deploy infrastructure using Ansible
• Manage Azure services including Active Directory, Application Gateway, Azure Monitor
• Support hybrid environments across Azure
  
  

Monitoring & Reliability

• Implement observability using tools like ELK and Prometheus
• Ensure high availability and performance of applications through proactive monitoring and incident response.
  
  

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with development teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions
• Maintain technical documentation for pipelines, scripts, and infrastructure
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps or software engineering roles
• Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Good knowledge and at least 7 years of hands-on experience in Azure Cloud
• Good knowledge and at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Linux administration
• Excellent knowledge with minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in Kubernetes and Gitlab CI/CD pipeline
• Good knowledge and hands on experience docker
• Good understanding on DevSecOps process and tools
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as Microsoft AZ-400 or AWS DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Familiarity with security and compliance in DevOps workflows.
• Knowledge of below technologies/ tools will be an added advantage Ansible, Clair OpenVas, SonarQube, Gitlab server, EFK stack, Docker Harbor, Nginx reverse proxy, Keycloak, Minio, Redis, Verdaccio,Prometheus/Grafana
