Key Responsibilities
Support and maintain the Compliance and AML Frameworks.
Monitor compliance with FSRA regulations, ADGM laws, and internal policies.
Identify, assess, and report compliance and regulatory risks.
Track regulatory developments and assess business impact.
Maintain compliance registers, breaches, conflicts of interest, and regulatory
obligations.
Support regulatory filings and liaison with the FSRA.
Develop and execute the annual Compliance Monitoring Plan (CMP).
Conduct compliance reviews, testing, and monitor remediation actions.
Prepare compliance reports and management information for senior
management and the Board.
Support AML/CFT and Sanctions oversight, including client risk assessments and
due diligence reviews.
Review AML alerts, sanctions screening results, adverse media hits, and
suspicious activity investigations.
Assist with SAR/STR assessments, reporting, and AML risk assessments.
Review high-risk client onboarding and periodic KYC reviews.
Provide compliance guidance on client acceptance and regulatory matters.
Support KYC remediation and control enhancement initiatives.
Maintain compliance policies, procedures, and regulatory records.
Prepare reports for Board, committees, and senior management.
Provide day-to-day regulatory advice and support awareness of AML/CFT,
sanctions, and conduct requirements.
Support in DPO related responsibilities.
In the capacity of DMLRO, the role holder will:
Act as deputy to the MLRO when required.
Receive and assess internal suspicious activity reports.
Assist in determining whether external reporting obligations arise.
Maintain appropriate records relating to suspicious activity reporting.
Support the effectiveness of AML transaction monitoring and screening controls.
Assist with regulatory inspections, audits, and financial crime reviews.
Act as DPO as and when required.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
Professional certification (CAMS/ICA) preferred
AML/CFT experience in financial services
3-5 year of experience Compliance or related fields.
