A Database Administrator (DBA) is a crucial role in any organization that relies on data-driven decision-making. The DBA is responsible for ensuring databases are always available to relevant stakeholders while maintaining the integrity and performance of the database systems. As the guardian of corporate data, the DBA plays a key role in the coordination and implementation of data security measures to protect the organization against data breaches and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role for at least 3 years.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems like SQL, Oracle, or NoSQL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with database security, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
• Proficient in scripting and automation with languages like Python or Shell scripting.
• Outstanding communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
