Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our dynamic radiology team. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in patient care by operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate scanning and analysis. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and ability to interact compassionately with patients will be paramount in delivering exceptional service. Our ideal candidate is a certified radiologic technologist with a specialization in CT imaging, committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and patient safety while also demonstrating an ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical challenges.


Responsibilities

  • Operate CT equipment and perform diagnostic imaging examinations according to established protocols.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of patients through professional interaction and guidance.
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists to interpret and analyze image results promptly.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and documentation related to the images taken.
  • Evaluate CT exams for complete diagnostic quality before submission to radiologists for analysis.
  • Ensure CT equipment is well-maintained and calibrated regularly for optimal performance.
  • Educate patients and their families about the CT procedures and potential risks involved.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including radiation protection guidelines.
  • Participate in technical evaluations and troubleshooting of complex imaging equipment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in CT imaging technology.
  • Implement quality assurance procedures to ensure compliance with departmental standards.
  • Assist in the training and orientation of new staff members within the department.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in radiologic technology or related healthcare field is required.
  • Certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Specialized certification in CT (Computed Tomography) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working in CT imaging or similar field.
  • Thorough knowledge of radiographic imaging principles and CT safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage patient interactions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for accurate diagnostic interpretation.
