Job Description

As a Credit Card Sales Officer, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our financial institution by promoting and selling credit card products to potential customers. Your main responsibility will be to acquire new customers through various sales activities, including field sales, telemarketing, and promotional events. You will educate customers on the benefits of our credit card offerings, assess their financial needs, and provide personalized recommendations to ensure they choose the most suitable product. This role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently. You will work closely with the sales team and report directly to the Sales Manager, contributing to the overall performance targets of the sales department.


Responsibilities

  • Identify potential customers and sell credit card products to them efficiently.
  • Conduct field sales activities to promote credit card offerings in designated areas.
  • Maintain and update a database of potential and existing customers regularly.
  • Educate customers on the features and benefits of different credit card products.
  • Perform credit assessments to match customers with suitable credit card options.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities.
  • Gather customer feedback and relay it to product development teams as necessary.
  • Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Prepare comprehensive sales reports for management review and analysis.
  • Attend training sessions to stay updated on new products and industry trends.
  • Adhere to compliance and regulatory standards while performing sales activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of credit card products and the financial market environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building customer relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office and CRM software for organizing customer data.
  • Willingness to travel and work outside of standard office hours when needed.
