Job Description

The Concierge Team Leader plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the seamless operation of concierge services within a hospitality or corporate environment. As the face of the organization, the Concierge Team Leader is responsible for managing a team of concierges and providing guidance, support, and training to maintain the highest standards of service. This role requires an outstanding level of customer service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle complex situations with grace and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality or customer service, combined with leadership experience. They will be adept at problem-solving, have a keen eye for detail, and possess the ability to foster a positive environment that encourages personal growth and team collaboration.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support the concierge team to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Train new team members to ensure they understand roles and expectations.
  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve customer issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Oversee concierge desk operations to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
  • Maintain an extensive knowledge of local attractions, services, and activities.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing swift and satisfactory resolutions.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the concierge team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Monitor staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage during peak times and events.
  • Prepare reports on team performance, guest feedback, and operational improvements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for VIP guests and special requests.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards of service.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a customer service or hospitality leadership role.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective team management.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local and regional attractions and services.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Professional demeanor with a polished and articulate communication style.
