Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our team. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating individuals who are experiencing psychological distress or mental illness. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs. This position requires a strong commitment to ethical practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be expected to maintain accurate records and stay updated on the latest research and techniques in the field of psychology. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to diagnose mental health disorders in clients.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups, and families.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate case notes and documentation on all client sessions.
  • Stay informed about the latest clinical research and integrate findings into practice.
  • Conduct crisis interventions and risk assessments when necessary for client safety.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to trainee psychologists and interns within the practice.
  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals in a team environment.
  • Participate in regular professional development and training opportunities to enhance clinical skills.
  • Engage in community outreach programs to raise awareness about mental health issues.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of mental health educational materials.
  • Ensure all practices are in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Clinical Psychologist.
  • Minimum of two years' clinical experience in a mental health setting is required.
  • Strong foundation in various therapeutic modalities, including CBT and psychodynamic therapy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a diverse caseload with complex psychological issues.
