Responsibilities

• Create, review, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Identify, report, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand application requirements.
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not broken by new changes.
• Participate in design and specification reviews to understand the functionality and provide testing input.
• Ensure that all test activities are accurately reported and documented.
• Coordinate testing tasks with cross-functional teams and ensure deadlines are met.
• Develop and maintain manual testing environments for execution and troubleshooting.
• Analyze testing results and provide detailed reports to the team.
• Contribute to the creation of automated tests to increase testing efficiency.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies for higher quality standards.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate them where applicable in testing processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a QA manual tester or similar role in software development.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Proficiency in technical troubleshooting and debugging complex software issues.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of SQL and scripting for data validation and testing purposes.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple testing tasks.
