The role of a Civil Inspector is crucial to ensuring the quality and safety of construction projects. Responsibilities

• Maintain comprehensive daily inspection logs and prepare reports as mandated.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal construction regulations and codes.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with project managers and engineering teams.
• Oversee contractor performance and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Conduct follow-up inspections to verify compliance of completed corrective measures.
• Support safety inspections and report on any potential hazards or safety situations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil construction inspection is essential.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations is necessary.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate project activities.
• Solid problem-solving skills and ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
