Job Title: Camp Design Engineer

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (Al Saada Tower)

Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Working Days: Monday- Friday

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Camp Design Engineer to lead the planning, design, and execution oversight of labor accommodation facilities for key infrastructure projects, including ADNOC-related developments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in camp design, UAE regulatory compliance, and government liaison, with proven experience managing construction projects in line with UAE codes and ADNOC standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of labor accommodations and temporary facilities for ADNOC projects, ensuring adherence to ADNOC standards and Supreme Petroleum Council (SPC) approval processes.
  • Interface effectively with UAE government authorities such as the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Transport to secure building permits, No Objection Certificates (NOCs), and other essential approvals.
  • Manage and oversee the execution of low-rise (G+2) construction projects, ensuring compliance with UAE building codes, local climate considerations, and material specifications.
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance, applying knowledge of the UAE Fire and Life Safety Code and other relevant safety regulations.
  • Prepare, review, and submit all required technical documentation, drawings, and reports for government approvals and client reviews.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery within budget.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and other design software to develop detailed and accurate design plans.
  • Provide technical guidance on modular and prefabricated building systems when applicable.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in the UAE construction industry.
  • Proven experience in ADNOC camp design projects, familiar with ADNOC standards and SPC approval processes.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, government approval processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Valid G+2 Engineer Certification issued by Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi Municipality, or equivalent authority.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
  • UAE Driving License preferred.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in modular or prefabricated building design.
  • Strong site utilities planning and infrastructure knowledge.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple stakeholders.
